Description

For 1 Inch or 5/8 Inch Tool Posts - For Both 1 1/4" and 1" - 8 TPI Chucks or Faceplates. Leave Woodturnings mounted to the Chuck or Faceplate and move them to this stand. Quickly and easily mounts to your existing banjo. Manufactured from New and Refurbished Metal Parts - No Plastic. This is listed as Used but it is brand new!!! Has both 1 1/4 Inch - 8 TPI as well as 1 Inch - 8 TPI male threads for mounting either your Chuck or Faceplate. Each adapters is mounted on their own 5/8" Pin. Comes standard with 5/8" or 1" post for mounting in any lathe banjo which accepts either 5/8 Inch or 1 Inch tool posts. The VicMarc Chuck, Bowl and PowerMatic Lathe are NOT included - shown for pictures only. One Complete piece, Swap out the 1" - 8 TPI interface with the 1 1/4" - 8 TPI Interface - ( Shown in pictures with 1 1/4" - 8 TPI adapter) You have both adapters available so you can easily mount your woodturning in any position for woodburning, carving, painting, coloring, staining, piercing or whatever you like or need to do to support the woodturning you want to complete!! Shown with the 1 1/4"- 8 TPI adapter BUT YOU WILL RECEIVE BOTH Adapters, the 1 1/4" - 8 TPI and 1" - 8 TPI units. 1" - 8 TPI Pin is shown in separate picture. The only item you may need to remove via set screw is the 1 Inch Sleeve which is at the top of the 1 Inch sleeve. This will reveal the captive 5/8 Inch Post - for mounting in a smaller lathe banjo. Everything is captive, in one complete piece. As shown in pictures. Complete system is easily locked down with the use of Two Aluminum knobs - One for the rotation of the assembly around the tool post location and the 2nd Knob to lock the position and rotation of the 1 1/4" - 8 TPI or 1 - 8 TPI Threaded adapter (for your chuck or faceplate). These two adjustments along with the movement of the Banjo allows for infinite movement of the woodturning to provide you with 3 Axis positioning!!! Not shown on 5/8" Banjo in pictures but is shown on 1" Banjo with PowerMatic Lathe (NOT Included) Infinitely allows you to mount your turning in any direction or position with the adjustments mentioned above. Made from all metal - is comprised of New Steel and refurbished aluminum parts. Absolutely no plastic on this unit. Weight (Less Chuck) with 1 Inch Post is just under 3 lbs.
