Recently I purchased a box lot of vintage sports pins, many are from track and field meets. They relate to world competitions, preparation of athletes for the Olympic Games, the IAAF, TAC, AAU, USATF and more . The listing is for the Vintage IAAF World Athletics Congress Pin 1991 Tokyo Japan Track Field Sport Badge Pinback International Amateur Athletic Federation pre-owned collectible. After 2001 this track-and-field organization changed their name to International Association of Athletics Federations . This silver tone pin is highlighted by shades of blue enamel. The pin features the iconic winged victory logo. It states: Tokyo IAAF Congress 1991. The pin is approximately 1 1/8 inches by approximately 3/4 of an inch.
