Offered for your consideration is... #19 FRANK Home Run BAKER, Philadelphia A's, from the Diamond Classics I set issued in 1982 by Big League Collectibles, Inc. Starting in 1982 and averaging one set per year for 4 years, Big League Collectibles, Inc., issued numbered, limited edition card sets in quantities ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 sets. Featuring full-color pictures made from original hand-painted photographs, the sets depicted greats, near-greats and journeymen players. Each card was manufactured on thick, 6-ply card stock reminding collectors of the pre-1957 era cards. These are not reprints but originals issued in 1982. The card offered is from BLC's Diamond Classics I set which was styled after the classic 1953 Bowman baseball card sets. It is the same size as the Bowman cards - 2-1/2" by 3-3/4". Just 10,000 of each card was produced. Great for team collectors, type card specialists or hobbyists seeking cards of their favorites. Happy collecting and Play Ball! Near-Mint to Mint condition.
